We have enjoyed living on this former upscale children's camp turned executive lodge for six years, raising children and entertaining friends and family from around the world. Now we have traded our Algonquin-paradise for a tropical paradise in Florida, creating a once in a lifetime opportunity to get an incomparable home or family vacation compound unlike anything available anywhere. This is the best property on the best lake in Ontario and nothing like it will be ever be available again.

Note: This is a private family lodge, not a commercial property.

Major features of the property include:

The Lake: We had an environmental impact study done which proves that Kawagama is - as rumored - the cleanest lake in Ontario (100-page study available for buyer), with "unmeasurable" levels for almost all tests. Sand-bottomed and ranging to nearly 300 feet in depth, Kawagama is fed by springs and uninhabited Algonquin Park Lakes. World-renowned Algonquin park is minutes away. Kawagama is the second largest lake in Haliburton with 50 miles of shoreline winding through myriad bays but also opening out to a huge open area (the "Big Lake") minutes away by boat.
